| The 426 Hemi, built using a new Mopar performance block and vintage parts, runs perfectly. The only non vintage parts are the block and the Edelbrock carbs. The 727 transmission was also rebuilt, as was the 8 3/4" posi rear end. Every single part of the drive train from the radiator to the tip of the exhaust was replaced or completely rebuilt within the last 700 miles, and it needs absolutely nothing. Every linkage, ball joint, bushing and bolt in the suspension was also replaced, and this car runs and drives better than it ever did in 1970.
The sheet metal appears to be almost completely original, and has absolutely no sign of rust anywhere.
